The NEC is the information management and information technology (IM/IT) agency for the garrison staff and supported partners. The NEC is staffed by dedicated IM/IT professionals (Government employees as well as various Contractors) whose mission is to work for the success of customers we serve. The NEC is responsible for the day-to-day support of garrison and tenant organizations located on the installation.

Rock Island Arsenal is a major Army installation that is home to more than 70 tenant organizations that provide essential products and services to all of our Joint Services. The NEC supports more than 7,300 military, civilian and contractor personnel that comprise a multi-faceted dynamic workforce unlike any other in the United States.
